Parent Council
What is Simpson Primary's Parent Council?
PARENT COUNCIL AIM
Our Parent Council is a voluntarily run council made up of parents/carers of children attending Simpson Primary School, we are a friendly group and encourage all to get involved and join our team.
Simpson Primary & Nursery Parent Council has an important role to play in school improvement by ensuring that the parental perspective is represented and taken into account.
The Parent Council aims to help create an environment where all parents know that their views matter, and where they feel confident and comfortable putting them forward. We work on behalf of all parents to discuss educational matters that are of importance to all.
The Parent Council aims to:
- Provide constructive challenge and support
- Open channels of communication between parents and the school
- Contribute funds to the school
